Tour Diary - Snorkeling near Koh Ma, Thailand

"Here we are: Koh Ma, Thailand. This right here is a tiny little island that you can walk out to, but only at low tide. Snorkelers from all over the world are jealous of us right now. They are writing notes about how sad they are because they are not snorkeling right here. And they are sending them off to Santa, hoping that next year they can come and snorkel here at Koh Ma."

Travelogue - Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia

Dear Monkey,

Your banana peels are well appreciated.

You did a great job with your term paper How to Be a Suck Up in the Corporate World and we are particularly proud of your thesis Why Penguins Follow Shiny Lights. You are on the right track.

We are keeping a Travelogue in an effort to expand global consciousness (has something to do with climbing down from the tree every once and awhile).

Spiritual Unfoldment

A quote from Spiritual Unfoldment by Swami Abhedananda:
"Plotinus said to his friend Flaccus, 'You ask how you can know the Infinite? I answer not by reason. It is the office of reason to distinguish and define. The Infinite cannot be ranked among its objects. You can only apprehend the Infinite by a faculty superior to reason, by entering into a state in which you are finite self no longer, in which the devine essence is communicated to you. This is ecstacy. It is the liberation of your mind from its finite anxieties. Like only apprehends the like. When you thus cease to be finite, you become one with the Infinite. In the reduction of your soul to its simplest self, its divine essence, you realize this union, nay this identity.'"
